E-commerce Market Lead – DACH
onsite
Prague
June 2, 2026
Role Purpose
The E-commerce Market Lead (DACH) is the "Tactical Engine" for our clients growth in German-speaking markets. You are responsible for translating the high-level global strategy into a localized execution plan. You have a high degree of autonomy (approx. 70–80%) to adapt the strategy to the German "vibe," ensuring every campaign and product launch resonates with the DACH consumer.
Why join Creative Dock
We are proud of our informal atmosphere. We maintain a flat structure and the working environment is shaped around project teams. We believe in career development. All that matters are your skills and desire to learn more. No diploma will ever secure you a place at Creative Dock.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Localization & Market Ownership
High Autonomy: You have 70–80% freedom to define and execute local initiatives, while aligning the remaining 20–30% with central stakeholders
Prioritization: Take the global roadmap and own the "DACH Backlog"—deciding which tasks for Performance, CRM, and Platform will move the needle in your region.
Market Voice: Act as the primary bridge between the Venture and local DACH stakeholders, ensuring all localized assets meet high-quality German standards.
2. Squad Coordination (The "Coordinator" Role)
Functional Leadership: Direct the daily workflow of a dedicated squad (Performance, CRM, Platform, Creative, Data).
No People Management: You focus 100% on business output. Career growth and HR administration for the squad are handled by Senior Chapter Leads (Guilds). You act as the "Project Manager" within this squad.
Creative Veto: You have the power to change and adapt creative assets to fit the local market "vibe," ensuring cultural relevance.
3. Market Performance & Optimization
KPI Accountability: Monitor and report on regional KPIs (Revenue, ROAS, CAC) and identify local growth opportunities.
Forecasting: Provide regular feedback and data-backed forecasts for the DACH region to the Domain Lead.
Data Interpretation: Work with Data Support specialists to interpret regional performance and turn insights into actionable tasks for the squad.
Must-Haves:
Language: Native German speaker (C2 level). This is essential for high-quality localization and communication with DACH stakeholders.
Experience: 3+ years in E-commerce (ideally within a brand, agency, or venture environment).
Tactical Mindset: You understand the "logic" of e-commerce tools (Meta Ads, Shopify, CRM) and can effectively direct specialists without needing to do the manual execution yourself.
Market Expert: Deep knowledge of DACH shopping habits, payment preferences (Klarna, etc.), and seasonal peaks.
Soft Skills:
Prioritization: Strong ability to manage a backlog and say "no" to low-impact tasks.
Stakeholder Management: Comfortable navigating a matrix organization and communicating with both internal venture leads and local counterparts.
