Technical Lead / Founder
onsite
Prague
August 17, 2026
Creativedock is building a portfolio of new ventures with Bosch, spanning manufacturing quality, production, data infrastructure, automation, and supply chain provenance. A discovery phase has mapped 16 investable concepts across 5 strategic themes — each with its own venture thesis and market/regulatory clock.
We are recruiting founding leadership to take one of these concepts from validation and pilot to a fundable, scalable business. As Founder, you will own the technical direction and build from the first prototype through scale, partnering directly with a Founder/ Product Lead and backed by Creativedock's venture-building team and Bosch's industrial network.
What You'll Do
Technical Architecture: Define and own the technical architecture, adjusting as constraints clarify.
Engineering Leadership: Build and lead the early engineering effort—hiring when appropriate, building hands-on when needed.
Stack & Tooling Strategy: Make pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions balancing speed against long-term flexibility.
Customer Pilot Validation: Validate technology directly with pilot customers, working alongside plant engineers and IT/OT teams in real production environments.
Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant—including data privacy and OT-specific security considerations for factory systems.
Investment Gate Diligence: Own technical due diligence at each gate, translating technical risks and progress for the steering board.
Co-Founder Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Founder on product roadmaps, sequencing, and engineering resource allocation.
What You Could Be Building
Concepts are matched to your background and conviction during the recruitment process. Technical surface areas across the current portfolio include:
Computer Vision & Applied ML: Catching defects, damage, or quality issues from sensor and image data in manufacturing environments.
Industrial Data Platforms & Integration: Unifying data across shop-floor and enterprise systems (MES, PLC, ERP, LIMS) while securing against OT-specific threats.
Real-time & Predictive Software: Optimizing production scheduling, inventory, and capacity-matching decisions.
Robotics & Automation: Control software, connectors, and orchestration for flexible, modular production equipment.
Traceability & Provenance Systems: Verifying and recording product journeys from raw material to the field.
Note: You do not need experience across all domains—a strong pattern of architecting/shipping 0-to-1 technical products and rapid domain acquisition is what matters most.
What We're Looking For
0-to-1 Track Record: Proven experience taking a product from first prototype to production as a technical founder or lead.
Hands-on Depth: Current coding and architecture experience—this is a active builder's role, especially in early stages.
Domain Expertise: Experience in at least one key domain (e.g., CV/ML, industrial data integration, IoT/OT systems, robotics, enterprise data platforms).
Pragmatic Mindset: Lean build instincts focused on shipping early, learning, and iterating quickly.
Communication & Leadership: Ability to translate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders/investors and act as a full partner in product decisions.
Languages: Fluent English; German is a plus given close collaboration with Bosch.
Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or OT-connected environments.
Exposure to securing OT/industrial systems.
Production experience with robotics or applied computer vision.
Previous experience as a startup CTO or technical co-founder.
What We Offer
Founder Equity: A meaningful founder stake in the venture you build with real upside.
Venture Support: Dedicated methodology, coaching, operating capital, and proven build processes from validation through launch.
Bosch Network: Direct access to Bosch as a design partner, pilot site, and engineering sounding board.
True Founding Journey: The opportunity to build a company from scratch, rather than joining an existing entity.

Creativedock is building a portfolio of new ventures with Bosch, spanning manufacturing quality, production, data infrastructure, automation, and supply chain provenance. A discovery phase mapped investable concepts across 5 strategic themes — each with its own venture thesis and its own market or regulatory clock. We are now recruiting the Founders who will take one of these concepts out of the portfolio and turn it into a real, standalone venture: from validation, through pilot, to a fundable, scalable business.
As a Founder, you won't inherit a business plan to execute — you'll take a validated concept and a strong initial thesis, and build the company around it: the product, the go-to-market, the team, and the case for continued investment. You'll be paired from day one with a Technical Lead and backed by Creativedock's venture-building team and Bosch's industrial network.
What you'll do
Own the venture. Adopt one concept from the portfolio and turn it into a fundable, scalable, standalone venture.
Lead customer and market discovery. Talk directly to plant managers, quality leads, supply chain, and operations decision-makers to sharpen the problem, the buyer, and the value proposition.
Shape the product. Define the product vision and MVP scope jointly with your technical co-founder, and make the sequencing calls between speed, learning, and scope.
Drive commercial validation. Design and run pilots with reference customers, and turn early usage into evidence that the business is worth scaling.
Own the numbers. Build the business case and financial model, and defend it at each investment gate in front of the steering board.
Build the venture team and network. Hire the early team, and build the partnerships — with Bosch business units, pilot customers, and external suppliers — the venture needs to move fast.
Represent the venture externally. Be the face of the venture in front of customers, partners, and investors.
What you could be building
The exact concept is matched to your background and conviction during the process, and may evolve as you validate it. To give a sense of range, the current portfolio spans five themes:
Quality Intelligence — AI and vision-based tools that catch defects, damage, and manufacturability issues earlier in the production and delivery chain.
Adaptive Production & Supply — software that re-sequences production, rebalances inventory, and matches idle capacity to demand in near real time. • Manufacturing Data Backbone — infrastructure that unifies data across MES, PLC, ERP and LIMS systems, and secures it against OT-specific threats.
Autonomous & Flexible Production — robotics, modular workcells, and AI-driven control systems that make factory floors more flexible and less capital-intensive.
Product & Supply Provenance — traceability and verification platforms that follow a product and its supply chain from raw material to field.
You do not need experience across all of these — what matters more is a strong pattern of taking a 0-to-1 B2B product from insight to paying customers.
What we're looking for
A track record of building 0-to-1 as a Founder, or early business lead who has taken a product from idea to market.
Strong commercial and customer-facing instincts — comfortable running discovery interviews, shaping a value proposition, and closing early pilots or contracts. • Genuine comfort with ambiguity — confident making decisions with incomplete information and adjusting course as evidence comes in.
A business or strategy foundation — able to build and defend a business case, financial model, and investment narrative.
The ability to partner closely with a technical counterpart to work as true co-founders on product, priorities, and trade-offs.
Fluent English; German is a plus
Nice to have
Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or supply chain in B2B.
Existing relationships or credibility with industrial or enterprise buyers.
Background in corporate innovation, venture building, or corporate venture capital.
What we offer
A meaningful founder stake in the venture you build, with the upside of ownership and the founder's real stake in its outcome.
Dedicated venture-building support — methodology, coaching, operating capital, and a proven build process from validation through launch.Direct access to Bosch's industrial network as an anchor customer, design partner, and potential co-investor.
A genuine from-scratch founder journey — you are building the company, not joining one that already exists.
