Performance Marketing Manager (mid-level)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn and implement performance and brand campaign strategies across multiple markets
Plan, execute, and supervise user acquisition campaigns across paid social, search, video, and cross-channel platforms
Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and reporting setup for accurate performance measurement
Continuously optimize budget allocation based on A/B testing insights, creative performance, formats, and targeting
Drive improvements in ROAS and CPA through strategic, data-driven decision-making
Use analytics tools (including AI-powered platforms) to generate insights and support marketing decisions
Collaborate closely with brand, CRM, data, and category teams to ensure message consistency and alignment
Report performance updates to senior stakeholders, including C-level, with clear insights and recommendations

Actively participate in research and innovation initiatives to test and apply emerging technologies in performance marketing
SKILLS
3+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, ideally in agency or e-commerce settings
Expertise in managing paid search, paid social, video, and/or programmatic campaigns
Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics 4, and AI-powered marketing tools
Advanced knowledge of tracking, attribution models, and tag management
Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights
Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-project environments with shifting priorities
Ability to supervise and optimize cross-functional campaigns at scale
Strategic mindset with a creative, test-and-learn approach
German language proficiency is a plus
Prior experience in research & innovation is beneficial
Experience in Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
Experience managing campaigns with ROAS / revenue-driven KPIs
Experience with product feed management / tools like Channable or similar
Comfortable with data analysis, reporting, and campaign optimization
Experience testing growth or scaling strategies for paid acquisition
Paid Social knowledge is a plus
In-house eCommerce performance marketing experience (highly advantageous)
EDUCATIONCOURSES / KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Economics, or a related field (advantageous)
Professional certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or similar platforms are a strong advantage
A/B and multivariate testing methodologies
Conversion rate optimization, bid strategies, and funnel management

Performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, LTV, CTR, and conversion paths
