Tech Lead / Node.js Developer (Part-Time) – Mutumutu Project

At Creative Dock, we build companies from scratch. We are venture builders – not an ordinary software house. We value autonomy, reliability, and technical excellence. For our Mutumutu project, we’re looking for a special type of developer: part tech lead, part back-end engineer, and 100% reliable.

This is not a full-time role (yet), but there’s a high possibility of it evolving into one, as we grow or spin up new projects. If you thrive in ownership-heavy, entrepreneurial environments, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity while making strong technical decisions – this is your playground.

What We’re Looking For

A self-reliant Tech Lead / Node.js Developer with the ability to:

• Take ownership of backend systems and architecture

• Lead development initiatives with autonomy

• Provide technical direction, especially around Node.js, microservices, and infrastructure

Must-Have:

• Strong experience with Node.js, ideally with:

  • Feathers.js

  • Sequelize

  • Mocha

• Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL

• Experience with PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ

• Working knowledge of Docker

• Experience with Kubernetes (or strong willingness to ramp up quickly)

• Fluent Czech speaker

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with React or React Native

• Basic knowledge of Python (our scoring engine is written in it)

• Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments

• Previous startup or venture-building exposure
