IT Business Analyst

No diploma will ever secure you a place at Creative Dock.About the RoleWe are looking for an IT Business Analyst with an AI insight who will play a key role in shaping, delivering, and operating an AI-based product. This role sits at the intersection of product definition, delivery management, and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence.You will work very closely with the CTO and Project Lead, translating vision into a well-defined product, ensuring smooth execution, and taking end-to-end responsibility for design validation and testing of the tool.We are looking for someone who understands the probabilistic nature of AI systems, their limitations, and how this impacts requirements, testing, and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Definition & Documentation

• Define the product vision, scope, and functional requirements in close collaboration with the CTO and Project Lead.

• Write clear, structured product and feature descriptions suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.

• Continuously refine requirements based on product evolution and AI model behavior.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

• Maintain backlog, priorities, dependencies, and timelines.

• Ensure transparency and clarity for the entire delivery team.

• Track progress and proactively ensure the team stays on timeline and aligned on priorities.

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies early and propose practical solutions.

• Establish and maintain high standards of operational excellence across product delivery.

AI-Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure product requirements reflect the realities of AI-based systems, including:

  • Non-deterministic outputs.

  • Model confidence, accuracy, and limitations.

  • Data dependencies and feedback loops.

• Collaborate with technical teams to define realistic expectations for AI performance.

• Help stakeholders understand how AI products differ from traditional software.

Testing & Quality Ownership

• Take end-to-end responsibility for product testing and quality.

• Understand the specialty of testing AI-driven features and designing the test strategy accordingly.

• Design test scenarios, acceptance tests, and validation strategies.

• Execute and coordinate testing activities; while a QA tester may assist, final accountability remains with you.

• Validate that the product meets functional, operational, and user expectations.

• Ensure quality standards are met before releases.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• CTO – on technical feasibility, architecture implications, and AI constraints.

• Venture Lead – on planning, delivery, and execution.

• Development and AI/Data team – to ensure shared understanding of goals and requirements.

• Act as a bridge between business, product, and technical perspectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication skills, ability to align diverse stakeholders.

• Independence and proactive approach.

• Ability to take a decision and be responsible for it.

• Ability to grasp complicated technical concepts.

• Ability to understand the business background.

• Experience with testing, acceptance criteria, and quality ownership.

• Strong background in product definition and delivery management.

• Knowledge of UML diagrams & BPMN diagrams.

• Understanding of API documentation, DB schema, JSON & XML.

• Have a team-player mindset with a hands-on approach.

• Fluent English language.

AI & Advanced Technology Experience

• Practical experience working on AI-based or data-driven products.

• Clear understanding of how AI systems differ from deterministic IT solutions.

• Experience defining requirements and tests for non-deterministic outputs.

• Ability to reason about AI performance, trade-offs, and limitations.
