Introduction

We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven CEO to lead the development and scaling of a smart sensing and edge intelligence platform for production environments. This venture combines sensors, edge computing, and AI to deliver real-time visibility and condition monitoring, unlocking actionable insights directly at the source of production. This is a unique opportunity to build a differentiated “sensor + brain” platform for the next generation of manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Build a platform combining sensors, edge computing, and AI analytics

• Develop solutions for condition monitoring, quality inspection, and asset tracking

• Deliver plug-and-play deployments with minimal integration effort

• Define hardware + software product strategy with strong SaaS layer

• Scale across industrial customers and multiple use cases

• Attend occasional business trips to Germany

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a CEO, founder, or senior leader in IoT, edge AI, or industrial sensing

• Strong product instinct across hardware and software integration

• Experience building scalable, data-driven products beyond hardware-only solutions

• Solid understanding of industrial environments and deployment constraints

• Ability to drive both product innovation and commercial traction

• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale from early stages

• Fluent English necessary, German is a plus but not required

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience working with industrial IoT platforms or edge computing architectures

• Background in scaling venture-backed technology companies

• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in real-time or embedded systems

• Network within industrial, manufacturing, or IoT ecosystems
