Key Account Manager (Japan)
Creative Dock is on the lookout for a Key Account Manager who will act as the primary relationship owner for strategic Japanese corporate clients. This role bridges European venture teams and Japanese business partners to ensure smooth collaboration, cultural alignment, and long-term partnership growth. The position focuses on trust-building, communication excellence, and cultural translation, ensuring that corporate clients’ and Creative Dock’s value propositions are clearly understood and effectively localized for Japanese stakeholders, resulting in successful business relationships between Creative Dock and their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for two key Japanese corporate accounts.
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders in Japan.
Support European venture teams in navigating Japanese business etiquette, communication styles, and decision-making processes.
Translate complex concepts, proposals, and storytelling into Japan-appropriate business narratives.
Facilitate cross-cultural workshops, meetings, and presentations between Japanese clients and European teams.
Identify potential areas for collaboration or venture development within existing client relationships.
Monitor client satisfaction and ensure long-term partnership continuity and alignment with strategic objectives.
Act as a liaison and advisor to ensure expectations, deliverables, and communication standards are consistently met.
Support internal teams in adapting business materials and communication to Japanese standards.
Education / Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Relations, or related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in Japan and an international (preferably European) context.
Experience in innovation consulting, venture building, or corporate partnerships preferred.
Location:
Japan (Tokyo preferred)
Regular collaboration with European teams (remote and occasional travel)
