Sales Operations Manager

For our client, we are building a unique venture / e-commerce platform in the UK which will help people switch from combustible cigarettes to reduced-risk alternatives (such as heated tobacco products, e-cigarettes and pouches) using data science enhanced with gamification and loyalty programme. We already launched a product on the UK market and now we want to grow the customer base, build new exciting product features and learn.

We are looking for a person who will help us drive our supply chain, master relations with suppliers, help expand product portfolio and improve our margins.

Core qualification of Sales Operations Manager

• Extensive knowledge of the UK retail and wholesale market
• Previous FMCG experience is a must, preferably in the tobacco/vaping category but not essential
• Previous e-commerce experience highly valued, but not essential
• Strong commercial acumen and P&L understanding
• Proactive solution seeker with open mind
• Excited person to build new service

What we need from Sales Operations Manager

• Build strong relationship with wholesale and 3PL partner
• Develop strong understanding of the sales dynamics in the RRP space
• Develop RTM and Pricing strategy
• Own the end-to-end supply chain operations process
• Support the B2B function when and where required
• A certain degree of travel within the UK and some international travel is expected.
• Work in a multinational team structure
