The core qualities of a Venture Manager

  • You will be ultimately responsible for the UK Sales and Operations team and formally represent the venture in the country 
  • In coordination with the central Creative Dock team and its clients, you will iterate and expand the service proposition specifically fitting the needs of the UK market
  • You will develop partnerships with all relevant customers, subcontractors, and other partners in the UK market 
  • You will lead and grow our business development and operations teams in the UK, including setting up processes, defining and tracking business goals, and providing hands-on support to the team 
  • You will actively contribute to the development of the digital solution supporting our services 
  • Your responsibilities will include both setting and fulfilling business and financial operational goals as well as the development of our services into a unique and scalable recycling proposition for the future  

What we need from a Venture Manager

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in a Sales or Operations Management role in the construction, manufacturing, or neighboring fields.
  • You have a track record in driving B2B business development in the UK or a similar environment 
  • You do not shy away from hands-on leading a small B2B sales and operations team, and you want to grow into a full general management role together with our UK venture
  • You are able to think and communicate in a well-structured way and systematically convert market learnings and customer needs into service propositions 
  • Experience in working with digital tools and platforms is a must, and you are able to actively contribute to the creation and development of our future digital backbone. You are driven to offer modern and digital services in an established industry. Knowledge and track record in this field is a strong advantage
  • You have a founder mentality, demonstrating resourceful and practical problem-solving skills
  • You possess the communication qualities needed for international stakeholder management
  • A relevant education in engineering or economics is a prerequisite
