JAN, PITCH US THE CORE IDEA IN 3 SENTENCES
Sure. Elektra Cars is an allinclusive operative leasing for electric cars, meaning that the customer gets the car including electricity. For the launch, we partner with BMW. The main aim is to make electric cars accessible to the broader public.
AND WHAT’S THE KEY BENEFIT TO THE CUSTOMER?
Customers pay only one fee per month. This covers everything, including the rental price, electricity, tires, maintenance, and the rental of a homecharging station. Outside charging is also included. We aim to offer a new car to our customers on a regular basis, so they always stay on top of the trend and grow with the technology.
WHAT ARE THE NEXT BIG STEPS FOR THE PROJECT?
Currently, we are proud and happy to cooperate with BMW. In the near future, we will offer other brands and models too. Our longterm vision is to cover the entire market and offer customers the car they want.
We aim to become a onestop solution for people who want to go electric.
I IMAGINE THE PROJECT IS QUITE COMPLEX. WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE THUS FAR?
In the beginning, we struggled to find buyback solution for the cars. As we offer our customers a new car on a regular basis, we needed an efficient and reliable solution for what to do with the still young cars. Since the market is just emerging, this was more difficult than we expected. However, we found a great solution now.

I’m extremely proud of what we pulled off in just a short time. Our team worked like maniacs to create a product that’s the first of its kind and will provide real value to the people and the environment. Now, it’s time to get our feet wet in the market, learn as we go, and adapt our service spectrum.
