Creative Talks : How we built a bank
Time & Location
About The Event
Zdeněk Černý, one of our CTOs, will talk about his experience with 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝.
The Velvon project was scheduled for launch this summer but unfortunately cancelled at the last minute. Still, Zdeněk gained 5 years of invaluable experience, some of which he’s going to share with you. The story begins in 2015, with a progressive architecture based on a monolith system built using Java––and ends in 2020, with a fine-tuned product with more than 100 cloud microservices.
> The original idea, its timeline & architecture a.k.a. the motivation
> 2015: Kazachstan & the Java monolithic Core Banking System
> 2016: Waiting for a new project and experimenting with microservices
> 2017: India & breaking the monolith into ... microlith
> 2018: Germany & moving to the cloud
> How things changed along the way
> Testing, building, monitoring, and infrastructure in each phase a.k.a. there are many CI/CDs out there
> And what we got after the 5 years – the biggest lesson learned
The webinar is free and will be held in English.
We will send you the link to join before the talk.
